Petite woman driving, seated on a black RideRise booster cushion on the driver's seat

A seat booster for adults who sit too low to drive

Shorter drivers, seats that have sagged over the years, a partner who sets the seat lower: it all ends the same way, sitting lower than you'd like behind the wheel.

RideRise adds height on top of the seat you already have. The slope does the work: it raises you at the back and tips you slightly forward, while the thinner front leaves the edge of the seat free, so getting in and out stays easy.

Woman working at a dining table, seated on a gray RideRise cushion on a wooden chair

From the driver's seat to a low office chair

RideRise isn't attached to the seat, so it goes where you need it: out of the way when someone else drives, into a rental car on a trip, or onto an office or dining chair that sits a little low.

Stood upright against the backrest, it doubles as a lower-back cushion. Black and Gray suit most car interiors; two other colors are available.

How to use it

  1. Place it

Set it on the seat with the thick end against the backrest.

  2. Readjust while parked

Reset your seat distance, steering wheel reach and mirrors, and check the seat belt path.

  3. Drive

If it shifts or gets in the way, remove it before driving.

Questions

How much higher will I sit?
It depends on your build and how soft your seat is, since memory foam settles slightly under you. The cushion's thickness at the back and front is listed under Size & weight.
Will it fit my seat?
Measure the space between the side bolsters of your seat and compare it with the cushion's width under Size & weight. The seat should be at least as wide as the cushion.
