How to choose
Reading pillows for sitting up in bed
A backrest pillow sits against the headboard, sloped side facing you, so you can lean back to read, watch a show or scroll on a tablet. It takes the place of a pile of pillows that slides apart every time you shift.
The WedgeRest™ Reading Backrest Pillow is a triangular backrest made for reading, streaming or scrolling while sitting up in bed. A round bolster buttons onto the front near the top; unbutton it if you prefer a flat face. A side pocket keeps your phone, remote or glasses within reach.
The SleepWell™ Memory Foam Wedge Pillow is a continuous memory foam slope for reading, watching TV in bed or resting with your upper body raised. Turn it over and the large face becomes a rest for your legs.
A bed rest pillow for the sofa, too
Both work on the sofa as well as the bed. WedgeRest can also go against the back of a sofa, a daybed or a wall, which makes it an easy way to turn any spot into a reading corner.
Height and shape
WedgeRest is the taller backrest: approx. 17.7 in high, 9.8 in deep at the base and 19.7 in along the backrest (45 × 25 × 50 cm), within ± 2 in.
SleepWell is lower and wider at the base: approx. 19.7 × 19.7 in (50 × 50 cm), 10.2 in (26 cm) at the highest point.
Covers and care
WedgeRest has polyester fiber fill and a removable velvet-touch cover (polyester and cotton, as stated); follow the care label for washing. It comes in Gray, Blue, Navy, Beige and Camel.
SleepWell is memory foam with a removable cover you wash on a delicate cycle at 86°F (30°C), then dry flat. Do not wash the foam; air it out regularly. It has a white top with gray sides.
