Eight hours at a desk. An hour commuting. Another few lifting. Your lower back is carrying it all — and eventually, it lets you know.
Whether it's a dull ache by mid-afternoon or a sharp catch when you bend down, lower back pain affects millions of working adults across the UK, Canada, and Australia. Standard painkillers mask the problem. Rest helps temporarily. What your back actually needs is targeted structural support while you carry on with life.
The CoreGuard™ Pro uses a dual lateral traction system: two side straps that let you dial in exactly the right amount of compression. Tighten them more for heavy lifting or long drives. Loosen slightly for desk work. The 22cm height design covers the entire lumbar region — from L3 down to S1 — providing the firm, even support that tells your spine it's not on its own.
Key Benefits:
- ✓ Dual adjustable side straps — customise compression to match your activity level
- ✓ 22cm lumbar coverage — supports the full lower back region (L3–S1)
- ✓ Breathable mesh panels — designed for all-day wear without overheating
- ✓ Firm support without rigidity — move naturally while your back stays protected
- ✓ Four sizes (S–XL) — fits waist measurements from 60cm to 120cm
Made from a 60% neoprene, 30% elastane, 10% breathable mesh blend. Weighs just 180g. Hand washable. Suitable for office use, driving, physical work, and light gym activity. Trusted by warehouse workers, delivery drivers, and desk workers who need reliable daily support.

Built for the way you actually live
Designed for Working adults who spend extended hours sitting, driving, or performing physical tasks and want customisable lower back support without the bulk of rigid braces. Designed for office workers, warehouse staff, delivery drivers, and anyone whose workday puts repetitive strain on the lumbar region..
How it works
Position at lumbar curve
Place the 22cm belt so the top edge sits at your natural waistline and the bottom edge covers your sacral region. The four internal support stays should align vertically along your spine on either side of the vertebral column.
Secure primary closure
Fasten the main hook-and-loop panel around your abdomen with moderate tension — firm enough to feel contact across the lower back, loose enough to breathe comfortably. This creates the foundation layer of support.
Adjust side straps for activity
Pull the two lateral traction straps to dial in compression level. Tighten more (2–3 extra inches of pull) before lifting or physical work. Leave slightly looser for seated tasks. Re-adjust throughout the day as your activity changes.
What makes this different
Dual Side Traction System
Two independent adjustment straps anchored at the hip points let you increase or decrease lumbar compression in real time — no need to remove the belt to change support levels as you move between tasks.
22cm Full Lumbar Coverage
Extends from the L3 vertebra down to the S1 sacral joint — engineered height to support the entire lower back region where most strain accumulates during sitting, standing, and bending.
Mesh Ventilation Panels
Strategically placed breathable mesh inserts along both sides allow air circulation against skin, reducing heat buildup during extended wear periods in warm environments or during physical exertion.
Four Flexible Support Stays
Vertical reinforcement channels built into the back panel provide structure without rigidity — maintain their shape under tension while flexing with your natural body movements during walking, bending, and twisting.
180g Lightweight Design
Entire belt weighs just 180 grams (6.3 oz) — less than a smartphone — so it provides support without adding noticeable bulk under clothing or causing fatigue from the weight of the brace itself.
Four Size Options (S–XL)
Sized by waist measurement: Small (60–75cm / 24–30in), Medium (75–90cm / 30–35in), Large (90–105cm / 35–41in), X-Large (105–120cm / 41–47in). Measure around your natural waistline at navel height for accurate fit.

Cusheal vs. cheap alternatives
| Feature | Cusheal | Cheap alternatives |
|---|---|---|
| Compression adjustment | Dual independent side straps — dial tension up or down without removing belt | Single front closure only — must remove and re-fasten to change tension |
| Lumbar coverage area | 22cm height covers full L3–S1 region | 15–18cm height — leaves upper lumbar unsupported |
| Ventilation | Breathable mesh side panels for airflow during extended wear | Solid neoprene construction traps heat and moisture |
| Support structure | Four flexible polypropylene stays — bend with body movement | Rigid plastic or metal inserts — restrict natural motion |
| Weight | 180g (6.3 oz) lightweight construction | 250–350g — noticeable bulk and sag during wear |
| Size range | Four sizes covering 60–120cm waist measurements | One-size-fits-most approach — poor fit at size extremes |
